Situated on the campus of the Claremont Graduate College, you will find the East Gallery and the Peggy Phelps Gallery. At Pomona College, you will find the Pomona College Museum of Art. When you want to see modern and contemporary work, you will find it here. In addition, the work you will see displayed is created by students of the college, and the exhibits change each semester. The Claremont Museum of Art is designed to offer and preserve the artwork that represents the heritage of southern California. The gallery is often called the “Museum without Walls” since it does not have a permanent location, but is instead mobile.
