"Flash Fiction and the Self"

The dA Center for the Arts and Gallery 57 will host a three week seminar about writing flash fiction as a way into mindfulness and logotherapy. Kendall Johnson and John Brantingham will teach students how to create meaningful works of fiction that are not only artistically significant but also help writers understand who they are, and how they can grow as people. Kendall Johnson is a psychologist who has written chapters on writing and healing, has used writing as an intervention strategies following disasters, and served as Series Editor for the Therapist's Workbook series for Hunter House Publishing, and John Brantingham is a professor of writing for Mt. San Antonio College and the poet laureate of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park. Join us to develop writing skills and to help you understand yourself in a more complex way.

Classes will meet from 1-4 on February 11, 18, and 25. When you sign up and pay for Febuary 11, you are covered for all three classes.
This seminar is appropriate for serious student over the age of 18. You will need pen and paper or a laptop computer.
$50. All proceeds will go to the dA Center for the Arts and Gallery 57.
