‘The Bitchery of History’

The Bitchery of History is a popular weekly podcast that explores the stories of women who made history, only to be forgotten by it. Stories of these incredible women changing, creating, and influencing history are absolutely everywhere and darn it, Podcast Hosts Max Kirkham and Allison Powell are going to celebrate them in all of their glory! The podcast is on iTunes, Stitcher, Podomatic and in the Google Play Music Store. Educational and entertaining, just try to listen to it without learning a bunch of cool information!

Max Kirkham says, “Allison and I met on the first day of my freshmen year of college and quickly became friends. Fast forward five years later and we both found ourselves in LA working on a movie that didn’t end up going anywhere. Looking for something meaningful to create with just the two of us and the desire to see more women stories told, we came up with ‘The Bitchery of History.’ Finishing Season 2, this project has become more than we ever thought it would be and we can’t wait to see what comes next.” ‘The Bitchery of History’ is produced and researched by Janette Danielson and Kim Coscia, with additional research by Ashley Gasper. “You can expect from ‘Bitches Get Personal’ what every episode of the ‘Bitchery of History’ promises and that is truthful stories told by and about women,” state Kirkham. “Teaming up with an all-female production of ‘It’s Personal’ allows us to showcase amazing women and their stories of womanhood. Afterwards, we will showcase even more with a live taping of the podcast and an interview with the creators of ‘It’s Personal,’ Liz Kummer and Riley Billingsley.”
